- Memorial Day “tea & memories” ~
At The Russian River Rose Company, you can place a personal message for a friend or loved one on the “memory wishing tree”. Visit the “butterfly garden”, “sweet scent seat”, and the “rose history trail”. Take in the beauty of the 650 varieties of roses while you sip a cup of Dragon Fly tea. From 10-5 ~ donation of $4 ~ At the same venue an hour earlier enjoy the “Glory of Spring”. Starts at 9 am as you harvest baskets full of Bulgarian, French, and Persian petals and see them transformed into rose water and oils by steaming in antique copper kettles. Comes with a complementary refreshment.
Reservation required. Cost is between $15-$50 depending on which tour you choose.

- Museum Monday for the little ones ~
The Charles Schulz museum brings you stories, movement games, and arts & crafts designed for children 1-5 yrs. The Ice skating arena located adjacent to the museum offers tons of fun too! Before 11 am the price is $5 for kids over 4, and up to two adults free per child. - Avenue of the flags ~
Cemeteries in all cities from Petaluma to Ukiah will be holding “avenue of the flags” ceremonies. With speeches, 21 gun salutes, Taps, wreath laying, and more. Most have parades and/or BBQ’s following these events. A lovely way to pay our respects to the ones we lost.

- Smooth Melodies at Chateau St.Jean’s Garden ~
